We must continue to shine a light on diabetes
It’s different for everyone, but never easy.
Over 500 million people are currently living with diabetes worldwide1 and access to insulin and diabetes care remains a challenge for many.
During this #DiabetesAwarenessMonth we want to shine a brighter light on diabetes and support access to care.
Because if not now, when?
How many people are living with diabetes worldwide?
537 million people aged between 20 and 79 are living with diabetes worldwide, which equates to 1 in 10 adults in 20201.
But what is the current state of affairs with diabetes? What is the profile of those affected and in which regions of the world do they live?
